The supplies and materials that I am requesting for my students are hands-on materials. It will help improve and increase student attention and focus. Because most of my students are unable to write, they are practicing prewriting skills. The giant tracing numbers and sight word sentence board will be helpful in that area. The number grid, sequencing puzzles and number maze will teach color and shapes recognition that they will see within the environment. In addition, they also teach counting. The Science sorting center will be beneficial in teaching students to categorize and sort various items, such as animals, plants, food and etc. All of the needed materials will improve learning for my students in a variety of ways.
