Promoting and enhancing the Spanish class experience will also address an APS desire for an emphasis on high school-level fluency and ultimately college and career preparation. With access to Kindles, students including many who do not have access to technology at home -- will be given an opportunity to hear other speakers at the elementary school level and engage in enriching and interactive programs to further their Spanish exposure and comprehension. That Dr .Waldman is seeking support for non-traditional learning materials underscores her innovative efforts toward teaching Spanish. The requested materials will certainly sustain over many academic years, especially with protective cases, and the materials along with best practices will be shared between the two schools she visits (SPARK and Mary Lin) and among the rest of the Grady cluster..
