Our students love learning how to prepare new food items and are eager to increase their culinary abilities. Their cooking time is significantly limited by our school's lack of facility resources for student use. Currently, our school has 3 Foods instructors using just one classroom kitchen space. Our school cannot accommodate enough food preparation areas to meet the high demand of students taking our current Foods programs. Our geographical area values these life skills and recognizes culinary skills as a career path that many of our students plan to pursue. Having mobile kitchen carts will allow our students, in the regular classroom, accessibility to cooking space, giving them real cooking experiences to grow their culinary abilities.
