Big Bertha is my printer (HP LaserJet 1200 series). We've had her since 2002. That's 15 years. But now she's acting a little funny and I believe that she wants to retire, however she just doesn't know how to tell us. In her hay day she would print multiple copies, print quickly and she wouldn't eat your paper. However now she can no longer prints more than one page before repeating the entire printing process over again, she crushes paper and she takes about 5 minutes before she starts to print. Allowing Big Bertha to retire and getting a new printer would be the kind thing to do, this would allow my students to get all of their necessary printing needs met as well as allow Bertha to leave with dignity. Also my students and I wouldn't be so stressed trying to find a printer when Bertha has her occasional hiccups. It is extremely difficult teaching 80 students with a "uncooperative" printer. However, some things must come to an end. Let's make this a good ending.
