The Dash and Dot robots are hands-on tools to teach kids about coding. I teach two after school Coding Clubs to students in grades 3-5. I also have started a mentoring program at my school in which older students are paired with younger students and they meet twice a month to learn how to code together. The Dash and Dot robots will help make learning about coding more exciting and engage more types of learners. Learning about computer science and coding allows students to develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills. This experience will help my students find their passions and stretch their learning!
