We are 12 second grade students in a small rural village. Our school is a district of one building that houses Pre-K through 12th grades. We are tight on funds and our population is 60% at poverty level. The class is made up of 4 girls and 8 boys that have minimum exposure to classic literature and a range of genres. We enjoy writing in our Word Work and Work on Writing notebooks daily. Our writing, reading and vocabulary is improving weekly because of this strategy! Please help us continue our successful learning!
