Our project will help expose kids to books at their own level. The kids will be confident readers because they are able to read books that are 'just right' for them. Having the kindergarteners able to hold a book in their hands and be opened up to something new is something every child should be able to experience. We will be using these texts to practice our sight words, using different skills to read, and also writing about what they have read. At this stage in reading kids also need their own books so they can touch each word as they read. We are so excited for our little learners to be able to read from these texts.
