I teach Science for Special Education students at Henry Snyder High School in Jersey City, New Jersey. I teach environmental and biological sciences in a self-contained resource education classroom setting and chemistry in an inclusion setting. My classroom environment is Eco-School focused, with environmental projects that are ongoing year round. However, our classroom doesn't just remain in the building. We are often outside at parks and on our campus exploring the natural world.
