I am requesting 2 iPads needed for my students in my special education class to work toward independence with daily living skills this year. The iPads will allow them to practice their basic math and language arts skills in a game-based app that is both engaging and fun. They will also allow them to individually watch instructional videos on how to perform basic skills necessary for them to become independent adults. The iPads will assist my students to become successful in an ever-changing global society. Technology will accommodate their individual learning needs and build their confidence too on a daily basis.
