Students in my biology class are studying genetics, adaptation, and heredity in different species. We often rely on pictures or videos to observe these concepts, but I would love for them to have the opportunity to experience them first-hand. For this project, I would like transportation to take them to the Bronx Zoo. A large majority of the students in my biology class have never been to the zoo, any zoo. This will give them the ability to observe the concepts we discuss in class in a very direct way, especially by seeing animals that are not native to our part of the world.
