Please help my students make a difference across the globe! This project is partnered with Unicef and has two purposes: to help my students become more active and to feed malnourished children across the world. These Kid Power Bands track the steps of my students and for every 24,000 steps my class takes, a food packet is delivered to malnourished children across the world. Since my students are not able to financially help children in need, this project would allow my students to use their energy to make a difference to children around the globe. This project will encourage my students to be more active after school and live a healthier lifestyle while helping others at the same time. If my project is funded, my students would be able to learn about how other children their age in other countries are similar and different to them. We will play active games from around the globe to help them become aware of the culture of other countries. In addition, my students will graph their step data to track their progress and activity throughout the year. With your help my students will be empowered to make the world a better place while getting active!
