My students will use these requested Dell Chromebook laptops to learn how to code with Tynker, Ozobots, Makey Makey, Scratch, and other programs. The Chromebooks will also be used daily with every subject. The students will use the laptops to complete math assignments with our new math curriculum that offers online tutors, assessments and manipulatives. It is also a way for me to utilize my skills as a millennial as I leverage technology to better meet students where they are at in each subject. Finally, they will use the Chromebooks for research, typing practice, writing reports and essays, creating presentations, blogging, and completing online assignments. At our school, we have to share forty-five Chromebooks with five hundred students. The sixth grade students need a class set in order to fully utilize our curriculum. These five additional Chromebooks will help us make a complete class set for our sixth graders.
