My 4th grade students are a diverse group of students with a willingness to work hard and determination to succeed. Most of my students are English Language Learners that come from homes with limited resources so it's important to incorporate activities and experiences that will keep them engaged and motivated to keep learning. My students face challenges like learning disabilities, language barriers, and educational gaps on a daily basis. So, to be able to see their expressions when they experience success and get excited about learning is a very rewarding experience.

About my class
