These materials will give my students a sense of safety in my classroom by providing a secure, comfortable place to learn to read independently. The rug and bean bags will give them flexible seating in order to sit in small groups, and a designated place for their reading practice. The shelving will provide storage with ease, and visibility so students will be able to choose books on their reading level. Entertaining Leveled readers will help them to become more confident in their reading by being able to choose a subject the students area actually interested in. My students will have the chance to realize that books are treasures, and many adventures await them!
