Technology is an in important part of our lives! We couldn't really function that well without it. I wouldn't be able to type this without it! As an educator, I rely on technology such as SmartBoards and Laptops to assist me in giving my students the best visuals and presentations that will encourage optimal learning! My current laptop is outdated and some applications I do not have access to. I use my technology beyond classroom time. Like most educators, I bring work home so that I'll have more time to prepare lessons and take online courses at my convenience. This will greatly assist my students as well because I'll have the necessary equipment to assist them in their learning which will encourage greater student engagement! This will allow student access to fun, educational videos, and clear and concise video demonstrations which will aid in comprehending complex concepts.
