My 6th grade students are just realizing that reading is fun and not a chore. They have been introduced to a world of books and now we need more. Most of my students don't have a library of books at home to choose from. The only books they have access to are the books that I bring to them. Why is that? They don't have the money! 100% of my students are on the free lunch plan because their families don't make enough money.
