My classroom is a place of learning, acceptance, and communication. Students engage in math groups, which allow them to problem solve and participate in "math talks". The students love working on multiple skills in math groups and they especially love working with partners to solve problems. Math groups help develop not only mathematical understanding and skills, but also provide students with the opportunity to work collaboratively, problem solve, and explain their thinking.
