I teach a diverse class of 2nd grade students including our ELD population, GATE, special education, and at risk students. As a result of my classroom being so diverse in needs, these students would benefit from using technology to increase their typing skills, practice their math facts, challenge them academically, work on vocabulary and comprehension, as well as prepare them for the 3rd Grade Common Core Smarter Balance Test. As teachers, our primary goal is to prepare our students for their future, which includes using more technology in the classroom.

About my class
