My students come from families that offer little support to the school financially. I try my best to make sure that they have what they need whether it's notebook paper, pencils, or art supplies. It's hard for me to do that sometimes since I'm a mother of 3 boys of which 2 are school-aged and 1 attends daycare. So I struggle to get supplies. I usually buy a few things a little at a time. My students need colorful copy paper to make their interactive journals more interesting. They also need dry erase markers to use during activities that do not require us to use technology. I also teach a cooking class during club activities, so I need help with purchasing cooking utensils and dishes.
