The 2nd - 5th grade students I serve come to me for an additional 45-50 minutes of targeted support in reading and math. This brief instructional period must be explicit for all of the students that also come with various academic needs. My students need continuous opportunities to independently apply previously taught skills in order to develop mastery. The Roll and Read Phonics will provide active engagement in using phonetic skills to decode and read words. The What is the Best Strategy math resources will allow students to use a variety of strategies to solve a problem and determine which is the best strategy for the solution.
