My students LOVE doing art projects. However, due to limited budgets it has been quite difficult to get a variety of mediums for them to use in their artwork. This has caused some boredom and lack of effort in art class and I am seeking your help to fix this! My school is in the city of Flint and our students come from a variety of socioeconomic statuses. They do not have access to these kind of supplies at home and I want them to be able to experiment with paint, oil pastels, watercolors, and more. With your help, we will be able to create projects for holiday presents, cross-curricular assignments, and so much more. By implementing a successful art block, students will be able to pour out their dreams and aspirations in a variety of ways and realize all that they are capable of!
