In my class will be learning about reduce, reuse, recycle and we will reuse old tires and turn them into plant holders. We will use the paint and goop to refurbish and decorate the tires to create a welcoming vibe. This will be my students’ first service learning opportunity. We are going to use it to beautify our school and add some color and fun as we welcome the community through our front doors. This funding will not only allow me to further provide for my students but will more importantly help support our society and future as we nourish their minds and bodies in the education system. I can’t wait to show you guys how even the youngest of students can make a difference and begin to learn how to serve and make an impact on the world.
