My students will be using these flexible seating options at different times during the day. Students will have a choice about what seating option they want to use for the week. They will be able to use the option they choose at different times during the day. Students will also be using the NeoRok stools during small reading group instruction, as well as at their desks during other instruction. Students need the opportunity to move around while they are learning to do their best work. Some students need movement during learning more than others. Having the stools and wiggle cushions will allow these students to get the movement they need in order to do their best learning and participate in class the best they can. Research shows movement benefits students during their learning and helps information stick long term. These additional seating options will allow my students to continue performing at the high level they are.
