Students will actively engage with literacy and math that will be displayed to increase their visual capabilities with a new projector and adapters. It will change the teaching strategies from the teacher whole group presentation, to an engaging visual environment. Much of the student-centered curriculum has projector-friendly activities ready to go. Students will take turns interacting with the screen activities. This technology-based interaction is expected by the current generation. While students are learning from interacting of the projector, they will be practicing math or literacy activities on dry erase boards, paper, workbooks or taking turns answering questions. As a teacher of more than 20 years, I am looking forward to stepping up my strategies into a technology-friendly classroom.
