The supplies for this project are things that my students use on a daily basis. It can be expensive for me as a teacher to consistently buy these supplies, so we as a class had the opportunity to earn $100 through a DonorsChoose.org and Google project. When we recieved the funds the students all agreed that we should spend it on supplies and materials that I always have to buy. So, we made a list of all the items we need to help us function better in our classroom. The materials such as the Leveled Books Activity Box and the Pattern Blocks Activity Cards are materials that will provide my students with the hands-on experiences they need in order to improve their academic acheivements in reading and mathematics. The pencils, gluesticks and construction paper are materials that the class uses everyday for various S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) hand-on projects.
