At our school, we are not currently one to one with laptops or iPads. We are looking to add iPads to our classroom so we can use them during stations. There are so many good, educational apps that can help my students learn and challenge themselves on a daily basis. These iPads will also allow me to teach lessons, so that I don't have to carry my laptop around the room while I check my students work. In the past two months, I have had four new students join our classroom. With the four new students joining our class, we no longer have enough privacy folders for my students. We use these privacy folders at least 3 times a week for tests and quizzes. One of my new kiddos, would really benefit from a wobble stool. He is constantly moving and currently, he is sitting in a regular chair. He has fallen out of the chair multiple times now, and I think a wobble stool would provide a safe place for him to sit and work, while also allowing him to move.
