Flexible seating will give my students a choice of where they want to learn, and where they are most comfortable learning. The majority of the time my students are working on the floor in small groups, so I would love to give them them materials to be more comfortable while doing this. I believe that giving them this choice and this opportunity will keep them engaged during class and independent work time. The items that I selected will also allow students to move while they are sitting and working, allowing for better concentration. I close wobble stools and ball seats to give students who need to wiggle, the chance to do so! I also chose pillow floor seats and comfy bean bag chairs for more comfortable seating at a table. The lap desks and clipboards will allow students to effectively and comfortably complete their work if they are on the floor or on a comfy chair. I also added the storage bins for each student for their books and materials that would normally go inside their desk.
