I make the agendas as kid-friendly as possible. Each agenda has everything my first graders need to access that day's assignment. They include: 1) Detailed instructions for each subject area 2) Hyperlinks to the educational websites we are using 3) Embedded educational videos curated from the internet, as well as videos of me teaching directed lessons 4) A Video Agenda where I READ the written agenda . . . for my students who don't read well, or their parents who don't read English. I spend 6-8 hours each day producing these agendas and creating editable slides in which students can type. I am experiencing wrist pain as a result. The ergonomic mouse, ergonomic mouse pad, and wrist wrap are designed to alleviate the pain in my wrist, so that I can continue to deliver each day's complete lesson. The microphone would really help my students hear me better in my videos and during Zoom meetings. Since it seems we might be starting the next school year online as well, these materials will be needed for my next group of students. I'm expected to have 27 students next year, so the total number of students helped directly would be 47 . . . plus one very grateful teacher!
