These keyboards will make writing on the iPads much easier. My first graders are struggling to see the screen of the iPad when they are creating documents or books. When they type the keyboard pops up and covers the screen. It also makes it difficult for them to reread and edit their work. Keyboards for the iPads will enable students to focus on what they are writing and not how to see the screen while typing. At the same time, I will be able to teach them how to place their fingers correctly and to practice their keyboarding skills. My students will be able to become producers of information by the end to the year.
