Despite a pandemic, we are masking up and returning to school. I want to offer my students an energizing classroom learning experience that is as safe as possible. We are studying social studies during a major historical event. I'm asking for TIME For Kids subscriptions for my students, so we can practice our literacy skills, dry erase pockets with dry erase markers for the individualized practice of skills, a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to purchase high-interest activities, and chart paper and markers for research projects and presentations. This is my first year teaching and my first solo classroom. I'm wanting to equip my students with the materials and supplies they need to succeed in the socially distanced classroom.
