We are requesting two iPad minis that will allow for different structures and levels of learning in my classroom. The iPads will be used in my STEM Center. Students will use these iPads to collaborate on group findings by sharing through the cloud. I could download apps for various math practice skills for a math center. This would allow me to have activities for both my highest performing and most struggling students in math and in science. My project will make a difference by giving low-income students access to new technology which have a great impact on their futures. Our classrooms are not yet at the level technologically to meet their needs as learners. This grant will help to close that gap just a little bit more.
