My project is to create an inviting and innovative place for my students to enjoy learning, and make connections to their curriculum by using inquiry based, hands-on learning. I would like to create a Makerspace in my classroom where students have the opportunity to build, design, engineer, and create. I want my students to succeed to their fullest potential. They will use the materials requested to explore and make connections to the following topics, but not limited to: Netwon’s laws of motion, gravity and forces, engineering, simple machines, and magnets. Your donations will help to fund the following materials for our classroom: a Code & Go Robot Mouse Activity Set, Learning Essentials STEM Simple Machines Activity Set, STEM Engineering and Design Kit, Playstix, a ThinkFun Maker Studio Gears Building Set, Magformers, along with other great resources. I am so excited to be able to have the opportunity to allow my students to gain hands-on learning experiences, through a Makerspace’s exploration. Thank you in advance for your Donation!
