Every classroom is made up of many different types of learners. Students enjoy working in many different ways. Some like to sit quietly at a traditional desk, while others prefer standing. Some like to lay on their bellies on the floor, and some need to bounce and move while concentrating. If this is the case, then why are all students expected to sit at a traditional desk and complete their work? This project will give students the opportunity to learn and work in an environment conducive to their preferred learning styles. The Alphabetter standing desks will allow students the choice of how they would like to complete their work- either standing or sitting. The Glow stools and comfy floor seats will give yet another opportunity for choice seating when learning and working on the floor. Finally, the Bitty Bottoms Cushions will allow those students who need to wiggle, bounce, and move while working exactly that opportunity. With your help, I can ensure I am doing everything possible to allow all my students to be successful learners.
