The books I have requested will meet reading needs for my multi-level third-grade students. My kiddos need exposure to fiction, non-fiction, traditional stories and how-our-world-works stories. Providing a wide range of interesting reading material will help create a room full of life-long readers. I can’t wait for my students to help un-box all these books and see their excitement! Books expand a kid’s world by allowing them to live vicariously through stories. I have included early readers as well as more in-depth chapter books in order to accommodate every student in my class. They will enjoy these books, as I plan to incorporate adequate time to immerse themselves in order to create a relationship with each character.
