My goal is for students to walk into our classroom feeling comfortable and ready to learn. When seating is flexible, students are able to have collaboration with peers, explore topics, and create beyond the constraints of a desk. The headphones will help students achieve their academic goals and close the achievement gap! My students use online programs every day during math and reading workshop time. There are components of the programs where the directions and lessons are read aloud. Often times, students have a difficult time hearing and focusing when there are several other students using these programs at the same time. The headphones would help students complete the lessons successfully.
