As a result of Hurricane Irma, access to technology has been a challenge to my students coming from low socio-economic neighborhoods. They are required to work on weekly educational math programs that are not only mandatory, but are essential for their academic growth and success. My students do not have access to the internet at home and are unable to complete their required assignments in order to academically succeed. With addition of Chromebooks to my classroom, my students will be able to access their mandatory math program, as well as, work on other programs that are interactive and geared to their own academic level.
