These books that I chose for the students are about things and topics that they are highly interested in. I have guided reading groups each day and the students are always wondering what kind of book we will read next. They enjoy using these books to let their minds explore new thoughts and possibilities. Reading is an escape for some of the students. They get to imagine things they might never have dreamed of. It is great to see how a book can peak their interest and get them thinking about something they might never have before. They love to read!
