"Drums Alive!" will allow my students to utilize their interest of rhythm and beats to contribute to physical activity. The exercise balls will be used as a percussion instrument while the bucket will act as a stable base and storage. The Ball/bucket sets will be used in a grid pattern throughout the gym. Students will be able to "drum" on the sets to their front, rear, left, and right. Beats and rhythms will be explored all while being physically active. Constant arm, leg, and core engagement brings a level of vigorous physical activity that will raise students' heart rates to an aerobic exercise level.
