Our reading curriculum uses real books to help students learn the needed lessons. Most of these books are not available at our local library so we end up watching Youtube video's of someone reading the book. The stories that we can not access at all we skip through or I try to substitute a different story. It would make a huge difference for my students to actually be able to touch, hold and read the books multiple times. I personally can not afford to buy each of these books, and purchase other classroom items. I do the best I can with the resources I have available.
