We are building a great vocational training curriculum and area for our students, with your help! Job skill training is essential for students with disabilities. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, the employment rate for high school graduates is 63% for a person without a disability versus 15% for a person with a disability. Therefore, teaching these skills is a must for our students to succeed. We will be using the color printer to print photos and color pictures for easy to understand step by step directions. The shredder will be used for training students on how to complete a sequence of directions. Shredding is also one of many office jobs that our students may be asked to complete on the job.
