My project involves purchasing 6 HP Chromebooks for my 5th grade ELA classroom. The Chromebooks will up be set up in my classroom and students will have access to them throughout the day. My students are motivated by technology. They enjoy typing their work, and love competing in online games that reinforce new content. The Chromebooks will help prepare my students for the future. They will learn how to word process, search scholarly sources, and how to use the Chromebooks as a studying tool. Having a set of 6 will be prefect for centers. Students will also be able to take their AR tests on the Chromebooks while gaining digital citizenship.
