Children will use these items to develop their balance, coordination, and imagination. Our classroom is a small and center space is limited. This small gross motor toy will help the children use their imagination as they will be given the ability to change levels as they play on it wearing their super hero capes and use their leg muscles to jump off or squat and slide down one slide. They can also practice their coordination by walking up and down the steps learning to alternate feet and balance. My students will have the chance to become more engaged in play when offered more areas to challenge their gross motor skills. They thrive on options. They will be encouraged to use the soft blocks to build passage ways and towers as high as they can get them and knock them over safely as they will not hurt them as they fall.
