We need a wireless pen tablet so I can provide instruction that supports my students' needs and builds an environment for learning. This wireless tablet will allow me to monitor students and their learning while being in different areas of the room. By walking around the room I can eliminate many classroom disruptions which will keep the classroom focused and on task. More involvement means more understanding. I can use proximity to increase engagement and achievement. Instead of stopping instruction to support a learner, I can work next to a student while giving other students notes/practice on the board. This eliminates the feeling of being called out or put on the spot and gives support to all my students. Students love the opportunity to use technology in the classroom. This will increase confidence and pride while leading their peers.
