Hurricane Harvey was a difficult time for our scholars. Some of them are living in hotels and just moved out of shelters. A lot of them lost everything and are still adjusting to the changed in their lives. In my classroom, the students are able to focus on the fun of learning and moving on to find stability. As one student so elegantly stated, "Science is fun and we get to do stuff."
