These materials will make a difference in students’ learning and improving their lives because these stations will keep them engaged and ready to excel in learning. The manga tiles will help the students learn their shapes while they have fun while building. The magnetic maze and the geostix will help with learning numbers and fine motor skills. The peg number board, the ice cream shop game and he numbers and counting self checking magnetic cards will help the students learn their numbers. Those items will also help the kids with matching the number with a picture and/or the amount that matches the number given. With the items from this project, my students will be able to work independently or in a small group setting during math stations. Each item will be used by two students at a time and rotated every ten minutes. I️ like to switch out these centers every two to three weeks to keep my students engaged. My students will be able to have fun while learning math. They are always eager to learn and try new things. I️ hope I️ will be able to introduce these new math centers to my classroom in the near future.
