Hi. My name is Mrs. Cali and I am the School Library Media Coordinator at Brevard Elementary. Our school is in the beautiful Appalachian mountains in a town known as the "Land of the Waterfalls". Many of our students are descendants of the first families to settle in the area. Although our community is financially challenged, our students come from hard working families who have a desire to see their children succeed and even become the first in their families to attend college. I have a special heart for these students because I, too, and from here. I was the first in my family to receive a college degree and it is my purpose in life to see each of these bright, creative minds succeed, walk across the stage to receive their diploma and go out into the world with the tools they need to share their gifts with the world. A huge thank you to all who can help with this mission.
