Many students learn best when they can move around a little bit. In order to allow students to move and get their wiggles out without distracting others, our class would love a set of Bouncy Bands. Research shows that students are more able to stay on task and focus on their work with the use of a tool such as Bouncy Bands. Bouncy Bands are rubber bands that attach to the legs of a student's desk that the student can put their feet on. This allows students to bounce and put resistance on them without the distraction of something that other students can see or hear. A class set would be beneficial so that one student is not singled out by having the bands on their desk, and all students can benefit from having the option of the movement. My students need Bouncy Bands to keep their feet busy in a non-distracting way and pencil grips to correct their handwriting.
