Utilizing robotics and coding devices will allow me to implement a technology driven curriculum where students can learn on the tools they will be using when they enter high school and the working world. Their ability to learn these skills right now is the highest it will ever be. Denying them this opportunity is to deny them a complete education. We would never send a student into the working world without the ability to read so why would we send them without the ability to use technology. The robotics kits I chose will allow my students to work independently and in groups to build their technology and coding skills. It is becoming evident that coding and technology skills are the primary requirement in the working world today. We all want the best for our students, and now is our chance to give it to them.
