These books will encourage my students to be empathetic to humans and animals alike, while pushing them to become proficient in English. I strive to create a classroom where students can be themselves and explore what they are curious about, this project will allow me to continue pushing them on their educational journey. My students have great ideas that will help more than just themselves, but my classroom library isn't currently supporting that goal. With these Literature Circle books, my students will be able to choose which endangered species they would like to help conserve. These books will give my students the ability to choose the book or animal that interests them, giving them choice and voice. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in making a difference, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the world around them and beyond.
