We would love to have headphones in our classroom to meet the needs of our diverse learners. The headphones will have a great impact on student learning. On a daily basis, students either listen to stories or practice phonics during our language arts centers. Students often find it difficult to hear their devices, which can cause students to become distracted and frustrated. During computer math game practice, students also have a difficult time listening to directions or playing math games because they are consumed by surrounding noises. The headphones will help students listen to stories, read stories, practice their phonetic skills and review math concepts without distractions.
